Charity work for marine environment

Charity work by Balancing Act Adelaide

Artwork by North Haven Primary School

Over the last 2 months I’ve worked on The Card Project with North Haven Primary School, South Australia. The project was created to involve those students trained as Dolphin Rangers in fundraising for their local marine organisation – the Australian Marine Wildlife Research and Rescue Organisation (AMWRRO).  AMWRRO is one of the organisations who train students to be Dolphin Rangers.

The project involved working with Robyn Ravalico, School Principal and a Community Artist who worked with the students to produce artwork of marine animals (i.e. dolphins, pelicans, seals and sea birds).

I selected 30 images from the original artwork and converted them into cards (A5) using Photoshop and Indesign. The cards were printed on recycled paper with images on front and AMWRRO message on back panel.

You can purchase these cards from Balancing Act Adelaide: $15 for 5 cards or $4 for individual cards. All proceeds to the Australian Marine Wildlife Research and Rescue Organisation (AMWRRO). Please place an order by contacting me on fiona@balancingactadelaide.com.au

Contact us today so we can help you turn your artwork into cards to save the environment.
